DHEA for women

NZkiwi

New member
Hi there, just curious to know if DHEA is a good supplement for women to use, my wife isn't into using AS so i thought DHEA might be good for her to use, have any of you ladies got any expereince using this and if so what were your thoughts?
Thanks.

As Wilson6 said, the only time DHEA supps might be useful for her is if she has had her Dr. run a blood test measuring DHEAS and it was found to be low. It is not uncommon for post-menopausal women, and older men to be low, but if she is not postmenopausal and she is not low, then I can't see how it would benefit her.

after a certain age in women (i think its around 40) DHEA levels decline this can lead to drop in testorone levels as DHEA is a test. precursor. i would reccomend using DHEA with adrostendoine as this is one of the most potent prohomone stack (and according to Bill Phillips the most effective). it is especially advisable for women over 40 to use as DHEA has many other properties that we can benefit from.
