I grew up in the mountains of Kentucky. It really did look like this

Here is an old pic of me and my girls dressed the way I would dress them as often as I could... and believe it or not it was ALWAYS from the clearance rack. LOL I would make weekly trips to the mall to wait for the outfits *to come together* ... what can I say, I took a tremendous amount of pride in my family. Ironically - I had really short hair then too!

It was 1998... 4th of July. I just realized - exactly 10 years ago.

I also just realized that my oldest and my second were holding hands in this pic... THAT is how close my children were when I was their mother. I just hope I will be enough to have that happen once again...

Yeah, I dropped into my office because it is right downtown there on the parade route. =-)

I live within 2 miles of work there downtown, and there is never any traffic going to work. Daycare is between home and work. It takes me less than 5 minutes. That rocks!
