how often do you guys deadlift say your just concentrating on that one lift increasing the weight every workout how many times a week just deasdlifts nothing else and stoping short of failure....thanks.
I can deadlift once a week until my work-out weight get up in over 425 and then my back needs more recovery time so I deadlift heavy one week and then light with assistants work the next. But you should be able to deadlift once a week until the point were your back is not recovering quick enough to keep going up each week.
It is my spine that seems not to recover too much. I do long back workouts with lots of volume...but I am training sport specific right now...will change soon.
Go heavy when you feel like it...and as much as possible.
