DEADLIFTS with trap bar......... Anyone....

i used to all the time in high school. it sucks though cuase my frame is big, and the in side of the bar is small. so whenever i pulled with it my hands would get stuck on my legs. if you not too big i think its a good exercise.

i used to feel alot more quads with the trap bar, as opposed to normal deadlifts. it really depends on your body structure. id go ahead and give them a try and find out how they affect you.

I have used trap bars before. I train Westside style and I have used it as a max effort exercise. I almost never use them anymore because it doesn't have the same feel as a regular deadlift (to me it feels as if it has no carryover). However, I might use it as a supplemental exercise after heavy Goodmornings (my gms are usually a max effort exercise). That is my opinion of them. However, I would give them a try and see how they feel to you.
