dead lift/back squat

Please do not take any offense to what I am about to ask - I mean it with all due respect.

With numbers skewed like that, it makes me wonder id when you started lifting, if you were part of the "bench & curl" club and worked mostly to look good in a tank top and neglected the rest of your body until you learned differently.

i think its because he has come back from a knee injury, which would be why his squat is so low, and he posted a video of his deads and he doesnt drop his hips so low so it isnt much knee bending which is why his deadlifts havnt been held back so much, i may be wrong though

No offense taken whatsoever... I blew my knee out in march, couldn't even jog and still hurts to sprint, bout 3 months after I tried to slowly build it back up doi g really light leg extentions an curls but I reinjured it... Just a few months ago I was able to squat with no added weight...I honestly thought I'd never squat again.. So 4 weeks ago I wrapped my knee loaded up 135lbs next week 155lbs following week 185lbs so just tha last few days I put 225lbs a huge milestone for me I don't know how much further I care to push it I'm 38yo and noided out of the thought of hurting more, I'm still not 100% like I said sprints an lateral moves is out for me.... So ya I'm happy with my 225 right now might just chill here n do sets with it. Oh by the way I hate tank tops lol and I always ware xxl shirts I like to cover up ;)

I have to say a 340 bench at 185 is solid:D I'm around 185 most of the time at 17 years old and my goal is a 315 bench, then eventually maybe a 370 bench(2x bodyweight) but I have a feeling I'm going to be a lot heavier so I'll have to increase my goal. Nice upper body strength:biggrin:

Nothing wrong with your squat if you have had an injury. Who cares if he was part of the beach muscles club....bet most guys on here did bench pressess and bicep curls before squatting and deadlifting. Biceps and arm development full stop are a MASSIVE part of a classic bodybuilding physique. Which MR O didnt have amazing arms????
