This was my DE lower workout for today

125 + light bands x 6 sets
135 + light bands x 1 set (on the video)
135 + lights + chain x1 set (on the video)

Speed deadlifts
155 x 6 x 1 (on the video)
205 x 2 x 1 (on the video)

Reverse hypers with a mini band
3x10

Pull throughs
70lbs 3x10

DB side bends 50lbs 3x10

I was just messing around with the chains, I need more of them. Each chain setup thing weighed around 23lbs each.

AND here is the video:

LOL, rip me apart fellas!
:cringes:

You need to drop your hips are lower you ass on your deads bro... your back is arched like the mcdonalds arches... the arch should be in the opposite direction... at least if you want to maintain the health in your lower vertabrae... other than that every thing looked pretty cool...

Out of curiousity,... since i dont train WSB... what purpose does chains dangling from the weight to the floor have on squatting?

Thanks and keep up the good work bro

You could use a slight bit more arch on the deads...

would apply more resistance once the bar was lifted to a certain height.....same with the bands....increasing resistance through the easier part of the movement....I have never done or really read much about the whole WSB thing either....but now i'm knida interested.

are the bands just regular Thera-bands?

thanks for the replies fellas. I'm really trying to bring up my lower back with reverse hypers, gms and pull throughs. It is a major weakpoint ATM.

As for the questions with bands and chains. I'm just experimenting with them myself. Bands will put more tension on the lockout of the squat as will the chains. They are both a form of accomodating resistance. I'm still learning so i can't really say TOO much because i wouldn't want to misinform anyone.

check out this article by dave tate on it:

chains are meant to help out on any weak areas, sticking points, and balance. say your squatting down, as you lift up, the chain lifts up of the ground and it ad's more weight to you squat, therefore you have to push harder. makes it so your movement is more smooth, less sticky points. never tried it on squats. very good with bench, most power lifters us them. I tried it once with curls fun stuff
