Cutting

wow well.. first congrats on your transformation bro... keep up the good work... keep your protein source from chicken breasts, fish, salmon, turkey, low fat cottage cheese, egg whites, your carbs brown rice, sweet potatoes, potatoes, couscous, pasta (whole grain) i keep my meals balanced 45/35/20... and cannot forget your fats, nuts, oilive oils, flax oils, penut butter... eat small meals balanced this way, 45% of it from carbs, 35 protein and 20 fats... and your body will adapt and speed up its metabolism, that with the cardio you are doing now... should do the trick... if you dont see enough progress as you would like, than tighten up your diet a little, be a little more strict, little more cardio, and make sure to keep drinking water... and dont forget your basic ed needs: multiv, your aminos ects ects...

Thanks bro! Got it. Im gonna shoot for 1800 cals with that layout for a month and see what happens.

How do you guys feel about keeping one macro away from another? Like carbs and fat(whole wheat english muffin with PB) together.

i think 1800 may still not be enough. If you are talking about eating a carbs than an hour later eating your prtoein and fat? it works but is that something you can really stick to? drop wholewheat english muffin and eat whit e or sweat potato, brown rice. Drop bread yes even wholewheat, eat pb and flaxseed oil spread to 7 meals a day, with a nice cassein protein or cttage cheese.

I agree you need to figure out your maintenance cals and then drop those about 250 cals and try that for a while. If that doesnt show any results then go 250 more. Also adjust your cardio according to your needs. If you eat to few cals you will never lose that spare tire, and you will risk losing your hard earned muscle! There several posts in the Diet forum to show you how to figure this correctly. Good luck Bro!!!

yeah, I had higher bf than i wanted a little over a year ago, i joined here and got schooled quick. tataina told me to get feed muscle burn fat, once i read that i learned more about diet than ever. I swear with 6 weeks of really following a PROPER diet, not what you think is right, but what you know is right. I dropped an incrediable amount of fat.
