cutting......how many calories?

Thanks Daisy!....well, my goal now, is to get my diet in check. Like i said , ive been eating 1,350 calories a day. mainly protein and good fats. I have a bad habit of craving protein shakes all the time, and i know i should eat more "real" food, but the shakes are more desirable for me! My bf% is at 25.9, and honestly i don't know what the % of bf would be, to get to look the way i want. I do my cardio on an empty stomach....well, minus the ephedra and coffee! And im trying to do my weights in the p.m. Also, i started training heavy, for thefirst time yesterday. Im a lil nervous, as im one of the ones afraid of "bulk". But i think if my diet is cleaner it won't be as scary. I can SQUUEZE into my 6-8 jeans, but i'd feel better in a 4-6. I want to really work on my lower 1/2. My upper is great. Also, i have a little squish on top of my abs. Not much, no "rolls" or anything =) but i'd like to see them really good again. I think as i get older its getting worse :rolleyes: ....I'll be 25 this year. What do u suggest?

No, not necessarially. Sports havel helped, but in my case it's mostly genetic.


If you are a figureskater...then you have an athletic background...

Well 2 put my 2 cents in.. I weight about 125 and i',m 5'6 pretty lean.. last year i weight about 110lb

My cloths fit me better now then they did then.. why because im leaner

Weight MEANS nothing

This isn't "The Shadow argues with someone he's never seen" thread, but if you look at every female (and male) in my family, whether they are athletic or not, we all have a similar build. We're all mesomorphs. I'm not denying that I'm an athlete, but genetics, at least for me, has been a bigger factor.

Not having seen you...I bet that you have a substantial difference in the amout of muscle you carry in your upperbody versus your lower...

You are a skater.

You already admitted that the skating has helped your high lbm.

assumptions r made. i'm not a skater because i find it boring... but most athletes r somewhat athletic.. why r u telling him to grow up.. silly
