Customs-Do you think this could really happen to an incoming package?

"this PHONE TAP BIZNESS is a tricky one...
most say that they only tap the BIGGEST of the BIGGEST..this is true,FOR THE MOST PART,but i know a buddy who was dealing GEAR thru the mail..relatively small quantites,maybe $1-2K per week,and he received packs from FOREIGN countries..the CUSTOMS caught onto one of his packs,turned it over to tyhe LOCAL POLICE,and they actually put a WIRETAP on the guys phone..this is fact..they wired and listened to his phonecalls,and heard him admit to someone that this incoming pack was his..BOOM,they set him up and busted him...this just goes to show you dont have to be ESCOBAR's cousin in order to get tapped...its definitely some freaky shit out there...paranoia will kill ya in the DEALING game..
the POLICE can tap your phones,WITHOUT a permit or warrant,BUT they CANNOT use that info they "overhear" in court...
as far as getting your house raided,it can be done relatively simple,thru "probable cause"...u have a buddy you dealed to,and he gets busted..he tells POLICE he was getting gear from you...this is "probable cause" enough for them to warrant a nice little raid on your sweet little home..i didnt think this was possibe either,but it just happened to one of the guys at my local gym..

BOTTOM LINE,dont talk over the phones...talk thru a foreign e-mail provider,and lock that baby down with PGP...if no access to COMP,just meet up with your fellow COMRADE..its just to HIT AND MISS talking over OPEN lines..why risk freedom over LAZINESS???

That's certainly true. You don't have to be one of Escobar's boys when you're dealing with the local police or narcotics agents. Especially if you're in a small town. Sometimes all local agencies get are mostly a lot of small busts. And yes I believe they will tap your phone to check out anything under suspicion. If they catch you, they may not be able to use the phone conversations in court, but who gives a fuck at this point, they already have you, and by then you'll more than likely have you prove your innocence rather than them proving your guilt.
