Could someone please critique my diet or offer any additions etc.......

Meal 1-60grms oats,1pint milk,2 slices wholemeal toast

Meal2-Pure whey with 1/2 pint milk

Meal 3-Meat/poultry with potatos/pasta/veg

Meal 4-1 litre milk with a nutrigrain bar/sometimes 1 cup whey powder

Meal 5-Repeat meal 3

Meal 6-1 pint milk with bread/little meat(15 grams of protein in the small serving of meat)

If youre wondering(prob guessed....im bulkin at the moment) and just wondering if im eating enough cals/protein............btw i am about 175 pounds.....cheers:D :D :D

you should be taking in at least 325 g per day protein and 60-100g carbs at your weight to bulk. that's most important-calories are not the main concern when bulking-just eat more than you did when you were not bulking.

bro you need some more protein in there!! try adding some eggs, or whey in the morning along with the oats. drop the bread first meal and go with 1 cup oats along with around 40g protein. also, i would get rid of some of the milk your drinking. 1-2 cups a day isnt bad, but all the sugars in milk add up throughout the day. and for your carbs, stick to brown rice, baked potatoes, oats, and some dextrose post workout. put some cottage cheese in the diet as well. hope i've helped a little and good luck on your diet!!

calories are not the main concern when bulking-

ummmmmmm..............im not sure about that one, surely to bulk you need calories from protein, carbs and fat.......i know proteins v.important but you cannot disregard the importance of carbs and good quality fats also............anyway, cheers for the advice.....ill probably aim to add somemore protein in meals 1 and 6 and perhaps cut down on the milk.......(although i kinda see it as an important weight gainer plus its fairly cheap).Ill probably add some eggs or whey into these meals and aim for a total of around 220grams of protein. Thanx again for the advice.
