Ive seen the 2nd one. I like the part with that weird oil-slick thing on the lake. When I was little, that scared the crap out of me.

I liked them. Sort of like comic-strip feel, and short story horror movie element. Nicely done. Will there ever be more of these movies? Steven king speculated maybe. Who knows though. Good movies. Creepy.




The horror movies now are focused too much on the female element for sales. Not a bad thing, but need whole package. it's not like they were in the 80's, they were graphic, more detailed, and had better storylines.Stuck to the true "horror movie" spirit.

That one was a classic. I was actually scared of the one called "Crate"...with the monster that lived in the crate under the University stairwell...

Hey Zero....that story about the black goo in the lake still scares the shit out of me when im swimming at night, especially when those sea weed patches bump me.

And Poye....I didnt think ANYONE else had ever read that one. Skeleton Crew was the collection of short stories, and "the Mist" was the title. Always thought that would have made a helluva movie. Some good but lesser known Stephen King books are the Dark Tower series.....bad thing is he admitted hell most likely die before they evr get finished. jerk.

The Oil Slick was my first introduction to rape. When that kid was lifting off that chicks shirt while she was sleeping so he could look at her breasts and touch them was a real milestone in my childhood.
