creatine??? just a ?

my friend just gave me a jug of regular creatine monohydrate..

does anythink this will be effective, or not?

the only creatine i ever took was cell tech.. it worked..

but, anyway, what about this stuff, its GNC brand..

what do i take it with, juice or a protien shake? doesnt matter

best way to take it IMO is put 10 grams in your post-workout shake. That's the only time I take it when I'm using it.
 
A friend of mine took the GNC stuff a couple of years ago. He said it worked but gave him an upset stomach b/c it was grains rather than powder. That was a couple of years ago and everyone could be different. It will work stomach discomfort or not, at least for most people.
 
Creatine mono is the best.... you can add it to anything you want and no sugars or carbs to worry about.
 
i've been taking scitec creatine that has 75grams of carbs, 10 grams creatine. I take post w/o with 60grams protien and 10 grams glutamine.
 
kool, i just take 5g of creatine 2-4 times a day alond with 5g of glutaime twice a day.. ill see how it works out.. i had glutamine the whole time, but i wanted to take creatine, glutamine, and the protien shakes all at once
 
When I was using creatine, I used some in the AM and some in the PM...always with food. I don't see the point in loading it after a workout. Creatine does NOT MAKE YOU GROW. I repeat, it does NOT make you grow. It enables your body to furnish more P to couple with ADP to make ATP which you burn as fuel...so you can do MORE WORK, and as a result of doing more work, you MAY grow. It's a secondary effect, at best.

I've heard the same amount, or even 15 grams a day, but spread out through out the day.

I've also heard DO NOT take it woth anything that has citric acid in it. (Like orange juice.) Some people have said they take it with white grape juice or even kool-aid. The sugar is supposed to help with absorbtion.

This is what I have heard, I am no expert or chemical wozard on this.:D

BTW, it has never made a noticeable difference for me when I have used it. But maybe I was expecting more than I should have.
