Creatine and Facial Acne??

I'm 22 and have struggled with facial acne for a long time. Within the last year I have got it under control. I started taking creatine about a month ago and have started to break out on my jaw line and neck. Wondering if any of you have ever experienced increased acne with creatine (especially facial ance). I find it hard to believe that this could be the cause. I'm also taking glutamine, 2 multivitamins a day and Bactrim an antibiotic to combat acne.

Thanks for any and all help.

Creatine shouldn't be acause of your increased acne. Didn't bother me while I was on it, and I still breakout at 30.

Any changes in your workout? If you've either just started, or upped the amount you workout, the increased sweating may be a contributing factor.

I never found anything to work effectively other than Accutane, which worked well, but had nasty, NASTY side effects.

Reel, I reed a lot about acne caused by creatine before start taking it. I had acne when younger and I don't want it back !
Apparently there is no relation between both, but it appears that many people in their last teens had experienced acne a week or so after starting with creatine. So I guess is about creatine AND your metabolism or whatever. You can stop creatine and see if the acne disappears.

Best thing I did to combat acne, take Vitamin C (<1gr daily), face steam baths and using my sister's facial cleaning creams (In a dark place where nobody could see me!)

Cheers

Funny shit about the creams luciano. Yeah, I've decided that its not the creatine. I recently started running 5-7 days a week in addition to my usual 4 day workout split to cut hard. Think increase in this might have something to do with it. Also, just got back to Florida from Spain and think the change in climate could have had an effect.
