courrier or usps

Has anyone ever used a courrier (Ups/fed-ex)? If so is it safe? Or should I just use the standard mail?

NEVER, EVER, USE A COURIER SERVICE TO SEND OR RECEIVE GEAR!!!! The courier services routinely inspect their domestic packages. USPS is the safest route. In order for USPS to inspect a domestic package, they have to have probable cause and a warrant. USPS is the best way to go whether the package is domestic or over seas.
