I'll agree on prohormones cause those things are worse than the actual AAS, but not vitamins. You cannot put vitamins in the same class as drugs like benzo's or ace inhibitors. Actually vitamins aren't drugs period so I'm not even really sure why you're bringing them up.

Wouldn't you agree that vitamins should at least be handled by the same standards that hand sanitizers or a new OTC pain killer would need to pass?

I'm not talking schedule C narcotics here. But I shouldn't be able to mix-up something in my basement and sell it, should I?

If government regulation is needed to protect us from so many other things, why should supplements, vitamins and prohormones be excepted?

I would agree. Some level of inspection needs to happen to make sure vitamin companies aren't running multiple products through the same equipment without some level of sanitization.

You realize those Sarms you're fond of were likely made in someone's basement right? I whole heartedly agree with the sentiment but most AAS is made in someones basement or kitchen.

I'm not the one advocating for more regulation. I'd be fine leaving supplements, vitamins, prohormones and a whole host of other things unregulated. But my host of other things includes securities, CO2, education, fuel efficiency, light bulbs, health care, retirement, postal service and trans fat.

And of course I know my SARMS-S4 may very well be made in someone's basement. That's why I'd never just indiscriminately order something and follow the instructions on some home-made label. I did a little reading, knew I was taking a calculated risk and spent several weeks playing with it. Let the buyer beware.

. Let the buyer beware.

works in some cases, not so much in others. You can't broadswipe the vast spectrum of products in our market. I mean just a few things you just mentioned like retirement and securities, well we've seen now what happens when these guys spend enough money around washington where they get a free pass to do as they please. I would argue that they have already destroyed our society, america is done. A very small group of people took the foundation out from under an entire culture and the end will not be comfortable to watch let alone be in as we are.

Thats the problem with regulations -- everyone loves their own brand.

oh I agree, have made that point to you numerous times. Problem is there are many cases in a free market where the consumer is blocked from making an informed decision either by definition of the product or by active deception. A vitamin is a vitamin, we know what vitamins are. As with all things too much is too much and "reasonable" people know this. There are other drugs however that come in a pill the size of a pencil tip but can have incredible systemic effects within the body. Nobody is having heartattacks from Vitamin D or C or whatever. Can you imagine if Clen was sold OTC? It's one of the drugs used by BB'ers that is potentially the most dangerous and damaging long term, and most people understand that and do treat it with respect. But if it were sold OTC with no warning labels or nothin, marketers would be free to promote it as the most safe, natural and utterly effective fat burner ever put on the market. And they'd be right about the last part. People would be taking swigs from the bottle like it was a flask. If 5 years down the line they show significant heart muscle deterioation, who's really to say that was from the clen right? I mean who's to say?....that's how our market works. Buyer beware works in some cases not in others.
