why are concentration curls considered finishing excersices, i did them after a long time yesterday and they seemed to work my biceps fully, got a good pump and my biceps were pretty sore the next day(i usually do barbell curls and alternate dumbell curls), if your muscles are worked fully they don't know the diff between 'mass" movcements and 'concentration' movements
 
a lot of this may have to do with your perception mentally. Since you havent done them in a while I am sure you payed special attention to form and actually feeling the contraction of the muscles. You probably got a really tight squeeze at the top and kept the contraction tight through the negative part of the exercise. You mentally made sure the exercise was used to its fullest. Now if you can keep this in mind during all the other exercises you perform it will only help your workout. One needs to understand that even though the physical aspect of what we do seems to be the most important thing, it is the mental challenge of making our bodies do it is how this game is actually played.
