anyone know of a trojan that deletes and or steals jpg files all my pics I had on this puter are gone again.

Last thing I did was close a pop up. when I was sending a pic file then pics all gone. My roommate said there might be a trojan on the system cause of the stupid site he uses to get movies at.

doesn't sound at all familiar.

Do a search on your c:\ drive for *.jpg or *.gif etc.....and just see what pops up. Someone may have moved them, or check the trash. most people will be dicks enough to delete them, but not smart enough to empty the trash

even if you find em..the virus is attached to them......count them as gone...

if you don't have virus scan, then download this and scan your machine. You won't know if they have a virus on them until you do so it's worth a try. An easier solution would be to check the trash just in case there is no phantom virus and someoen was just pissed at you.

run some antivirus / spyware software before you move those pics to another machine!!!!!!!!!
