Now, in general, I would first talk, then if the situation turns really nasty, as it has here than I would a/ giv 'em a good smacking or b/ take legal action.

Now in this case I can't hit them, and it would take too long for the courts, to go into it this person has.

1/ Falsely accused me at work, causing me to be investigated.
2/ Spread rumours that I raped someone.
3/ She is my friends boss and is making his life hell.
4/ Spreading even more rumours that I am using my partner
5/ Tried to get me into trouble with the police saying I made threating phone calls.

Now, I can go on and on why I can't do anything else but the legal route.

I WANT SOMETHING DONE NOW.

This person does a lot of work on the computer in their workplace.

I can get the email and maybe IP address, any suggestions for making their time on that machine difficult.

I'm thinking mail bombing, etc

If anyone has any good links, programs, for fucking someone's machine up or the like I'd appreciate it.

I misread the subject I guess.

In terms of attacking someone else's computer, just get some script kiddie stuff and DOS (denial of service) them.
If they have their system setup right/wrong, and don' have current patches, then maybe you can do more.

For the most part though, when planning to do things to people that likely have legal repercussions, it might not be the best idea to ask on public internet sites.

I would advise against retaliation, but that is just me.
