I know ppl talk about safemail and others but I just came across a post about another server ... hushmail.. turning emails over, check it out.. www. wired. com/threatlevel/2007/11/encrypted-e-mai/ So is there anyone that knows what they are talking about and knows if safemail or any other server is actually SAFE? why do these companies even store email data.. is there a company that does not store data either in a database or in the clouds?
Find a pop3s service such as lavabit (and pull all email off the server), use spotflux vpn and encrypt your hard drive. Even the paid services will such as hush will submit data to the police with or without a search warrant

I don't know why anybody who buys a small amount of gear for themselves would even care. Don't fool yourself. You're not important, and nobody will ever come after you. You are a fucking nobody.

The interesting things here is as soon as I typed this , I started receiving 4 and 5 of the same email at lavabit. There are probably some FED/NARC lurkers reading these posts.

The thread hasn't posted since this thread either
I don't believe in coincidences....

But another explanation for the duplicates is the "leave mail on server" option. I do this co I can read my mail on my phone. If I were trying to hide stuff , I wouldn't do this. Turn this off and only access the email from the encrypted computer. And I would disguise my username to be different from my username in other places. Also try to use a oversease service that doesn't respond to these warrantless search requests.
It is a fact that many of these US email services HAVE NOT been asking for warrants before providing information to law enforcement
