From what I hear you did a good job, however I am friends with someone who actually met the competitor that took first in your class, and I believe he said that the big difference between you and he that put him ahead were his legs.

In the Novice or the Open division? I didn't even place in the top 5 in the Open, I got third in the Novice only. It was a very big show, I believe there were about 145 competitors, and it was the largest Atlantic States Competition ever. Are you talking about the dude on the left in these photos? These are the top three in the Novice (I'm in the middle) The dude on the far right took 2nd.

Thanks brother! I came is light, I was only 163 at '5"5, and probably one of the lightest middleweights in the class. I wont make the same mistake twice because I plan on being a solid 10lbs heavier next time, maybe 15, fuck it

I agree with most others that you esily could have placed ahead of the 2nd place finisher. The guy who got first is one thick mofo.
