Colt 45 vs. Desert Eagle 1911 vs. Glock 9mm

As long as it goes bang who cares. If its a daily carry gun you probably dont want a big, heavy, hard to conceal pain in the ass. Something light, compact, easy to carry/conceal, and reliable. My G19, xd45, & kimber carry well in the winter. My sw642 .38 is perfect for summer time. I care more about comfort than big rounds. The 9mm is perfect imo. Ive never hear anyone whos benn shot by a 9mm saying "man that didnt hurt at all." Gettin shot by a gun, any gun, would fucking suck. I think the 9mm is ample for a carry gun.

Have to be more accurate with a 9mm though. There are plenty of people who get hit by a 9 and keep running. If I hit you I wanna see u squirming not running.

I don't think it's called CCW in Canada, but yeh thats the purpose

You dont want a big frame 1911 for this bro. Or a Deagle. I promise. 9mm is a cap gun. Plus if you dont have the right ammo it will shoot through the target and kill more people behind the target.

Get a .40 cal. The Glock 23 (gen 3) is a perfect carry gun. Or the glock G30 in .45 acp.

Glock 30 | G30 | .40 Caliber Pistol | GLOCK USA

Glock, Smith and Wesson M&P, Springfield, You cant really go wrong with any of those. Kahr Arms makes a few very nice CCW in .45 acp. (the PM45).

.40 cal is more than enough. .45 is just right to make sure you only have to shoot once no matter where you hit them.

You know what rob? I was just doing side by side comparing of my G19 and G23 and the specs are identical, except for 13+1 in the G23 compared to 15+1 in my G19 but so what.
I think youve convinced me to upgrade to a G23 gen 4 to get some more power.

If you need to pull out a gun, than it better ready to fire quick. So I think all three fail at that option. I would go with a 357 or a 38 special revolver. Pull it out, point, and fire.

glocks do the same thing?

That's another subject completely. Using a weapon correctly and accurately is WAY more important than the size.

Absolutely correct. But even if you fuck up and hit the perp in the shoulder there is a BIG difference if its 9mm vs. .45acp. If you hit the fuck with .45 he's going to be missing some of his shoulder.

You have to get the bullet in the chamber from the clip by sliding the shaft. That's not the same.
