Clothing Line

I wanted to hear your guys opinions on this. A guy that I know is starting a new line of clothes and asked me to be his partner. The clothing line will focus on body builders such as ourselves. Tight fitting tank tops, wool hats, tight shirts with wide shoulders and tight waists to make us look better. It will even have dress shirts with wide necks. And of course thongs for the gym bunnies. All sorts of cool shit. He gave me a catologue that he wanted me to look over. His web site will be up in a few weeks. I have to let him know by the end of the weekend if Im in or not. I think it sounds like a good idea, because I know I wish there was a place to get some good gear for a cheap price.

Also as of now there are going to be 2 lines of clothing named Roid Rage and Pitbull Products. These names are not definite as of right now so opinions on this would be well apreciated as well

I really respect all of your guys opinions so I look foward to hearing them. I love body building and I would not be going into this to try and make a shit load of money but rather sell products that I always have a hard time to find. I just dont want to lose my shirt in the process
 
you are going to name a line of the clothes roid rage?...does anyone else see anything slightly wrong with this?....i guess its ok if its not hilfiger style emblazoned across the front
 
That was just one idea he had. There is going to be a few lines of clothing that he has with different sections. The guy is a big juicer and thought that having a cool logo with the word Roid Rage on some of the shit would be hot. Its just one idea. I actually thought it wasnt such a bad idea. I think a black skull hat with the words Roid Rage in small print on the side would be hot. But either way lets here some more opinions
 
It's a good idea but I don't think many would want to sport a shirt with "Roid Rage" written accross the front. JMO though...
 
So it sounds like you guys think the clothing line is a good idea but it needs a good name. Lets here some opinions on some good names. I actually like Pitbull as a clothing name. A tight shirt with a little picture of a pitbul would look pretty good. Any ideas would be helpful
 
I'm with the others, not too crazy about "Roid Rage". Only a small percentage like to advertise that sort of thing.
 
I'm actually working on a ine myself and have them somehwat drawn up and am looking at fabrics and manufacturing costs. The name is the hardest part man... i don't have name for mine yet either.
 
I appreciate all of your guys opinions. I spoke with my friend earlier tonight about the different responses. The website will be selling clothes as well as products such as protein and fat burners. Many of the items that he will be selling will be set up in gyms in the Northeast. I love this board and especially the members on it. I do not think that any other board on the net even comes close. When this site eventually gets rolling, anyone from this site will get a extreme discount. Thanks for all the opinions so far and keep em commin

I think I might actually know the person that you are talking about. He has been talking about opening up a BodyBuilding store in New York and Connecticut. I think its the same guy because he was gonna call the chain Pitbull Productions. His shits gonna be sick, I have seen some of the designs for his clothes. I think he is also comming out with his own protein. Update me when you here from him
 
I would definately not where something that has roid rage on it.
Isn't pitbull a line of clothing already? Maybe not but the name sounds familiar. I know there's a Pitbull gym in my hometown....
 
The Roid Rage idea was mine, but I was half kidding and half serious. I myself would wear it but either way you guys shot that idea down so forget it. My friend is pretty set on the clothing line having something to do with a Pitbull. He says there mean and strong and a good symbol for a body buider. Hes a little nuts though. I think the design that is being made up is suppose to be comming back next week at wich time he will decide to finalize it or not. My friend as well as myself are more concerned with the quality of the clothes as well as how they fit. I dont know what you guys think, but its so hard to find tight shirts, tank tops, and other shit that fits good and makes my waist look small and my upper body look big.

I wanna hear from some more people if they think its worth me investing some of my own money into this company. I know that a few gyms already want some of his products so I am not to worried
 
Hey if you make some pants that fit good and not like they were painted on my thighs and loose on the waist then I don't care what the fuck you call it , I'll buy it!!

I'm not realy all that big on the tight shirts , but they are cool every now and then.

But maybe some jackets and tuxes that are made for BB shapes.

I would go for it bro if I was you. I mean what have you got to loose "I guess some money". But you should go for it. But listen to everyone on this board. Don't use the name "Roid Rage". I think you would be a lot more successful with your clothing line with the pitbull name. Good luck bro!

They were at the SF Grand Prix BB show last week. They had some pretty kewl shirts and stuff. The website is kewl but they need to show bigger pics of their clothing.

DO NOT Name it Roid Rage...that's fucking terrible. Otherwise if they are cheap it's not a bad idea.
