clen is catabolic!

I see a lot of people using clen post cycle because of thier anti-catabolic purposes, in my opinion it's more catabolic then anti-catabolic and here is why-

I use to use clen post cycle and last cycle I didn't and kept more gains

two of my friends use too run clen post cycle also, and stopped using clen PC on their last cycle and noticed also less loss in gains

clen is a CNS stimulant all CNS are catabolic because they raise cortisol. rec drugs like coke and meth are CNS stimulants and we all know what happens when you abuse those.

the whole thing with clen being anti-catabolic or even slightly anabolic to my knowledge is only with animals

so I don't have any scientific proff about my theory this is just something to think about I think clen is a fine fat burner only, best used on a cycle.
 
Is it possible that you interpret loosing less weight PC when on clen as meaning you lost more lean mass then if you didn't use clen? Of course...given everything else is identical, using clen would result in dropping more weight post cycle but the important point is whether or not that extra weight was lean muscle or fat. Perhaps using clen results in an extra 2-3lbs of fat loss...careful how you interpret "kept gains" I don't want to keep the fat gains.

Just a thought...

that is a good point but my body fat seems to stay the same, my personal expeirence as well as my friends do not back up my theory 100% what is a strong point is that clen is a CNS stimulant and that is known to be catabolic.

I also remeber reading someone's post a little while back on how clen raised his cortisol levels maybe i'll find it and post it.
 
I suffer from CSR (Central Serous Retinopathy) I have to lower my cortisone levels. I took 1 clenbuterol spiropent and 6 hours later I had an attack in my left eye. The clen made my heart rate go way up, shakes, and bad cramping in my hands, legs everywhere. That was the first attack I had in years. It definitely made me stressed out and my cortisone levels go way up. (never again). I believe clen raises cotisol levels not suppress them.

THANK YOU you're the person I was talking about who also noticed raised cortisol level from clen

I could have sworn I have seen a study that says clen is anti-catabolic.

Does anyone have a study confirming one or the other?
 
I have seen several studies on the anti-catabolic properties on clen. Maybe later I can dig through my archives and find one for you guys.

Yeah, clen is a stimulant. If you have a problem with those, then dont try it. Kind of like penicillin, great antibiotic, unless you are allergic.

I have used Clen multiple time and I have never lost muscle. I drop a ton of fat while on it.....everytime

I remember seeing a study about clen being anti-catabolic, as well as slightly anabolic, but It was done on animals with different receptors we humans don't have.
 
When you are dieting, clen has muscle sparing effect. Your body needs fuel and has to get it through muscle or fat stores. Clen is a beta agonist which causes fat to be released. If your body gets the calories from fat it does not need to go against muscle protein. This is the same as ECA.

I think there was some studies in cows using very high does of clen and it showed an anti-catabolic effect. Dont' remember to much. But I would not take clen in hopes of fighting catabolism.
