CKD Depletion Workout

I was curious as to what is the best way to go about doing the depletion workout while doing the CKD...?

I know that your supposed to do it in circuit style or whatever like going from one exercise to the next but I was curious as to what type of reps I should be using and also what kind of exercises should I be using? Should I stick to compound exercises like bench and bentover rows or should I switch over to machines... I really feel like I have read to do machines but I heard about freeweights too. What do you all suggest?

Also should I go to failure or no?

And how do I know when to stop?

the circuit does not work in the real world because you'd need to be in the gym for 2hrs which is catabolic and therefore a bad idea-if you work your whole body in an hour, you only have time for low reps and sets

A circuit is ideal, the workout should last a while too, about 60-90 minutes. Set up a circuit and keep repeating it until your strength drops quite a bit, you'll know when you're done...just feel weak and completely dead. Also try to do a variety of exercises (different ones each round would be good) to hit as many fibers as possible. A compound exercise and isolation for each part would be good, you could throw in some machines as well. Stop 3-5 reps short of failure, with 15-25 reps, pretty fast tempo...just lift with control...not too slow, not too fast.

Don't forget to kick yourself out of ketosis beforehand, too (I forgot the first time, and I couldn't do shit, haha). Have an apple, or some other fruit.

Thanks Cackerot69.. so a variety of exercises and just run through the circuit again and again haha sounds like a BITCH!
