Chronic muscle injury question

Last June I hurt my right glute and it's been giving me trouble ever since. It doesn't seem any weaker, but it just hurts, and I think during heavy exercise I favor it because of that. Yeah, I took 3 months off of leg training and all that good stuff, right when I injured it. The doc keeps prescribing me NSAIDs. Any special exercises or stretches I can do? I've been trying to keep leg exercise moderate and stretch it every day. I'm going to ask if he'll give me a referral for physical therapy.

Go see a chiropractor. You could very well just be out of line and when you lift...you are hurting it again.

ART

Look up on the net ART or Active Relase Therapy.

I found a Doc in NY and I have a bad upper back. Been to Chiropracters,Nuerologist,Back Specialist. Had Cat scans,MRI's, Physcial therapy

No one could help. Took 3 years off at the gym. I was in the worst physcial shape of my life. I had to get back in an accept the pain

The ART doctor had me fixed up in one visit. No more pain. It's like a miracle

get yourself looked over for muscle imbalances. sounds like you may have tight piriformis or even tight hams or glutes. read up on self myofascial release or go get a deep tissue sports massage concentrating on the area.
