Ingredients:
1 lb of boneless chicken breast ( already cut into strips), pepper and garlic powder ( seasoning),sliced of lemons, 1 diced of onion, minced garlic, olive oil and 1 cup of brown rice and 5 cups of water.
Heat the oven to 350 ( do this before you prepare your ingredients)
sprinkle pepper and garlic powder ( both side) on the chicken. set it aside
On a baking pan greased it with a bit of olive oil ( so the chicken won't stick) put the season chicken then sprinkle each chicken with olive oil (this would prevent it from burning and cook thouroughly) baked it for about 20 minutes.
On a medium size sauced pan or pot with heated olive oil ( medium heat) sautee the minced garlic ( till is brown) then add the onion for about few minutes. Then add the cook chicken strips . 3 minutes add 1 cup of brown rice ( not cook) then the 5 cups of water. Sprinkle some salt. Cover and Cook it about 40 minutes ( stirr it occasionally) . If it gets too thick you can always add water. Once is reached is consistency like a creamed soup and boiling its ready!!
Garnish it with sautee garlic (browned),parsley and sprinkle with some lemon juice
It's great also with diced of green onion ( stalk)
