Check out Lindsey Lohan's defense for stealing that necklace. lmao she's a wing-nut!!

Re: Check out Lindsey Lohan's defense for stealing that necklace. lmao she's a wing-n

There's a saying, if you say somethign enough times in the media - you can make people believe anything.

Rich & Famous people are not like you and I. They can use the media to put pressure on the DA to throw out charges or settle. Chances are they'll get tired of the immense media pressure and settle for probation or throw it out. Look how the pussy Swiss caved in for Polanski, since the US no long carries any power anymore.

Regular people can't get news articles about theri cases (or EF threads!). How many times do people have to keeping seeing rich & famous people keep getting special treatment by the justice system before they figure this out????

That's a very interesting concept, and I think you may be right

I'm thinking the judge will cave in and give her probation again!

Robert Blake, OJ Simpson, Paris Hilton, Roman Polanski, Lindsay Lohan, Ted Kennedy, Kobe Bryant, etc. etc.

If they were poor blak or hispanic people charged with those exact same crimes - they'd still be in jail.

isn't there a point at which a fuck-up's celebrity status has deteriorated enough that s/he won't have the media power to get out of trouble anymore? does that have a name? if not, i suggest we call it the razornav threshold.

easy.

the more she fucks up - the more a-list and richer she needs to be.

If she murders someone - she had better have billions, thousands of employees and saudi kings on speed dial if she wants to get off scott-free. If not, she had better play the race card - oh wait, she can't :)

media pressure? get the fuck out of here. it would be every DAs dream to get a big fat conviction in a high profile case.

they get acquitted because of better lawyers, and possibly connections
