Also, how much a day should I be taking?

Just go to Wal-Mart. You can get a bottle of 50 glutamine tabs for like 3-5 dollars. Take 500mg tab or 5g powder before workout and before bed. If you take creatine, then don't take it at the same time. Take glutamine before workout and creatine after workout or vice versa.

uhh you'd hafta eat 10 of those 500mg tabs to get 5 grams.... don't get tabs.

massnutrition.com has optimum glutamine powder for $32.50 for 1000 grams... get that.

get the powdered from DPS. The caps contain a worthless amount of glutamine to do anything... so don't go to walmart and buy the caps.

500mg does not equal 5g bro. 5g=5000mg

Kilosport has some good glutamine. I think it's $36 for a kilo. It's ground a little finer and I think it's easier to ingest. Sometimes I just gag when I drink it because the granules are so big, like drinking sand.

Can't beat the prices on DPS though. Ultimate Nutrition has good stuff. I like it because they fill that container all the way to the top!!! Not half filled like some companies.
