Anyone wakeup, hit cardio, then later that night hit the weights? Hows that working for you? pros cons?

Fasted cardio is always better for fatloss imo. I never do any heavy cardio though

All my cardio is fasted, i.e. first thing in the morning when waking up.

I wanted to know if anyone is doing basically 2-a-days, cardio in the AM, then weights at night on the same day. Has it affected your gains or strength, or did your body adapt and stopped feeling weak with the weights after doing cardio that same day in the AM
etc etc

Cardio shouldnt be counted as a workout. its not 2 a days.. its just cardio. It shouldnt effect your cns or anything. No issues should happen

I used to lift then run after for about 30 minutes light jog around the track. you can pull this off as long as you stay hydrated and eat well throughout the day.

i don't see you having any issues with cardio in the am and then weights in the evening, just don't expect to bulk up doing that. i think its a healthy idea.

I got to really disagree with that man.. it depends on what your doing as cardio. Right now in wrestling season the cardio sessions count as a workout and then some.

You shouldn't have any problem with that routine!

I think Im going to do cardio 3-4 times a week and weights the rest of the week, always doing cardio and weights on seperate days. Dont want to lose strength because of an hour of cardio earlier in the day.

Brother only way you are going to loose strenght is if your diet is up to par... if your cutting then two decent carb meals in the morning (breakfast and 2nd or 3rd meal prior to 12pm - as a guidline. But you can tweak that to suit yourself)

It really doesnt matter if your doing high intensity cardio or low intensity cardio as long as your eating right to support it.
