Cardio + Diet= Success(need some help)

I am a memeber of another forum and it is going under, i would liek to ask a question and maybe it will get answerd here...

1) Spring break one month to go...Treadmill or Cardio Machine or Flat track...(if so how long, say 30 min. at 3-5mph?)

2) Weighing 213 in the afternoon, would like to get to 195 by March 13th

3) Almost a precompetition diet, chicken/steak/lettuce/cottagecheese/flaxseed capsules/and shakes, what am i missing, oh yeah salmon too. Thanks and Hello, i will be seeing you around a lot I bet

wrestled in highschool and gradeschool for 11 years
avid lifter all my life, but lately been plagued w/ migraines
bench 295 squat 350 deadlift 900 (jk 505)
 
Have you ever tried to lean down before? Hard to say whether 30 min. of cardio will do the trick for any given individual - as it may take experimentation with duration and intensity to find out what will work the best (i.e., the fastest) for you.

By all means, start out doing 30 min. on the treadmill (I am a fan of the early morning, empty stomach cardio at moderate intensity) and see how it works. If you are presently able to maintain a consistent weight with the calories you are consuming, just drop 500 daily calories or so below that level and you should be on your way.

yes i have during wrestling season i used to cut down hardcore, but not properly, not eating was our goal, but i know that is wrong now, but i say i dont even get near 2k calories a day, and at 30 minutes i feel like crap after i get off the treadmill, im talkinf like wanteing to pass out, but im tough so i push it lol, i have lost about 13 pounds or so just cuttign down how much i eat, and eating better, my diet soda keeps me alive... what i had to eat yesterday

oatmeal about 8am
chicken salad home made no dressing(lettice tomato and chk basically)
flaxseedcapsule (2)
protein shake after workout
chicken and carrote and potatoes(canned)
steak and cottage cheese at night

that all through out the day
the chicken is breast from the oven


Are you implying that 30 minutes isnt enough?

also, i go to college and I usually walk at least 40-60 minutes a day to classes

besides that i am a couch potato, but i have nothign to do at the moment, it is so dang cold outside

you can bump this to trainign forum if need be, i wasn't sure where it was, new to site lol
 
I stay away from anything canned, due to the high sodium (water weight) just my .02 everything else looks about right. Your having more protein shakes than just pwo right?
