What do you think is the better way to go? Cardio before I lift or cardio after I lift? I have tried both and not sure if I feel a huge difference but wanted to see if you guys had any science behind it?
when i was an endurance athlete I would do my cardio first because i wanted to be fresh for it
when i switched to weight training goals i would do that first.. obviously if your goals are strength you want to be FRESH for strength training so save the cardio for after
It's best to do cardio after you lift weights because the weight lifting workout will deplete your muscles of muscle glycogen so your body then has to use body fat as fuel for the cardio session.
