Car people: Tires?!

Pirelli's are nice, but the two sets I went through on a previous car didn't seem to last very long. ...my alignment and everything was spot on, but they still wore out very quickly.

...I'm now a big fan of Michelins.

I've had very good luck with a set of Bridgestone Potenza RE950s. Friend of mine has the Dunlop SP Sport A2 tires on her Audi A4 and is very pleased with them for the money. Do you need All-Season tires, or will "summer" tires do? If you don't drive in the snow, then you might look at the Yokohama AVS ES100s.

I've trashed yet another set of tires :worried:

I have BFGoodrich, Michelin previously and the car guy was trying to get me to put the Continentals he had in stock on.

Anywho.

I really DRIVE my car and I love hugging my corners - just because I can and I enjoy it.

It's a 98 328i and if I recall the last set were 215/50/15 (?) (up from the original 205s)

Ideas?
Suggestions?
Experiences?

The Acura RL seeming very sweet these days, too bad they look so much like the Accords.

I get my tires at walmart
they are called ummm douglas, a step down from michelin and they are good

Michelin Pilot Alpin. A bit more expensive but last longer and stick to the ground, no matter what.
