I decided to really get my diet in order, so today I tried to eat very healthy.... just take a look at this if anything I can fix. I also have a 10 lb bag of proten coming my way, so I will put 3 protein shakes in this meal plan

Meal1: Cup of potatoes, 3 medium sausages, 2 tomatoes

Meal 2: 6 slices of Turkey on 1 slice of black bread

Meal 3: (postworkout): Cup of potatoes, salmon + smoked ham + turkey on 2 slices of black bread

Meal 4: Bowl of fruit with 4 slices of Turkey, Oatmeal Cookie

Meal 5: Can of tuna with 4 slices of Turkey

How does this look?

I would move the fruit and cookie to earlier in the day, maybe even post workout. How many cals a day is that?

I am guessing about 3000.. it is pretty hard to track because of no Nutrition breakdown on most of these foods. I am 210 lbs right now.

So thats like 14 or 15 cals per pound of body weight. I think you might have to go higher than that if you are trying to put on mass.

Hmm.. right now I am just trying to change body composition, loose a little fat with this low-med carb diet while still gaining strength and little mass. I figure if I introduce 3 protein shakes, 40 grams each.... that will be 120 * 4 = ~500 additional calories a day it will increase my calorie intake.

If you've got an unlimited budget (due to eating lots of meat), given your goals...

- 6 meals a day (5 + shake on workout days)
- Unlimited meat, fish and eggs
- Unlimited greens leafy vegetables
- 60g carb/30g protein post-workout shake
- Gallons of water
- Vitamin C/Multi-vitamin

That is it. Its not entirely perfect health-wise, but it would suit your goals right now.

Seriously, I'd love to eat like that. Not entirely practical, but it would kick ass...

That should be ok, I thought you were including the pretein shakes in the other calorie total.

the fat in your postworkout meal will slow down protein absorbtion,

the lunchmeat has a lot of sodium, and while its good to have it post w/o it causes water retention so that amount may not be ideal if youre trying to get a little slimmer,

switch the bowl of fruit and the post w/o black bread,

replace the potatoes in the morning with old fashioned oatmeal and a banana
