Tight maybe - not short.

No, they are short, she had some operation when she was a kid to lengthen the one that was really short, it stems from her fahters side of the family. Her and her father walk on their toes most of the time. Our two daughters walked on their toes when they were younger but have grown out of that, our son who is two walks on his toes about 90% of the time right now. She used be a runner when she was younger and still does run sometimes, her father was a marathon runner-monster calves.

My point is they attach where they attach.....using plates underneath the heels shift focus to the quads AWAY from the glutes...

Thanks so much.....I do most of the these cept for cable kick backs, but do not do this often enough or at high reps. I am not sure, but when it comes to butt, I think the key is higher reps? Someone correct me if I am wrong!

No......heavy weight builds muscle.

Look at the legs of sprinters......explosive training - not high reps

Distance running and high reps = saggy ass, right Trel??

Not now though - thats some high quality bootage T is sporting these days

What he said!

If you have a flat ass, you need to build up those glutes! People don't work their glutes as much as they should.

Depends on the exercise, depends on the order of the exercises, depends on the tut, depends on the rep range for that period, If I superset, I may strip weight, or pyramid weight.... Weight depends on a lot.. but one thing has always stayed the same... That is the goal every week, to lift more then the week before. So every session is a new personal best. I don't lolly gag, I don't stay light, I push until I feel every fiber or the I'm going to hurl or pass out feeling comes over me. Example today is thursday I still feel hams that I did on monday.

I don't have my personal log here in front of me, but what I lift should have no impact on what you can do. I plan on taking last years personal records writing those down and beating those out this year.

You just have to start with weight "X" and the next session it should look like "X+5 pounds" per se... That way your mind doesn't look at the number and think "I can't do that much, that's to heavy." It becomes less of a number game. I guess my goal is to try and increase my weight each week by 5 pounds at the least. So by the end of a 4 week period I should be lifting at least 15 pounds more then where I started. There are a few bumps sometimes, bad day, feeling weaker.... but that doesn't mean you drop the weight in half and call it a good work-out. You alter the weight slightly, and then know the following week you have to really kill it because you have to up the anty by 10 pounds. It's all a game to me.

With all of that said..... Form has to be ON, or else the weight stays the same.. Form is more important then any amount of weight.

Toe walking is the cause of shortened tendon's not the reason for it. Toe walking is also a symptom of a few disorders, mainly neurological. Most children toe walk but stop by 3 years old.
Pathophysiology: Idiopathic toe walking results from a habit pattern of toe walking that leads to a fixed contracture of the Achilles tendon or from a congenital shortness of the tendon. These young patients invariably have symmetric involvement. The extent to which their ankles are plantarflexed in gait typically is more than any tendon contracture would require. Many patients can stand flat if prompted to do so, and with an occasional patient, the examiner can demonstrate a normal range of passive dorsiflexion. Regardless of initial status of the heel cord, the contracture progresses with time. A long-standing equinus contracture then can lead to a valgus deformity of the hindfoot, another undesirable consequence.
