our entire judicial system needs tore up from the ground. This is broken on all levels and from every angle. It doesn't work. I didn't think you could get 25 years for shooting someone in the leg even if it was uprovoked. Being that this man found himself in the midst of a 40 man brawl, shot the dude in the leg than got the fuck out of there....I don't understand how he was even brought infront of a judge. For what? I was with a bunch of Orthopedic Surgeons groups over this weekend at their annual meeting. One of the items on the agenda was a "Update on Legislative Agenda" (translation: What is our lobbyist up to these days?).
