Hey girls,
I have decided to take over my aunties ukranian christmas eve, she is in the US and I can't get a hold of her recipes, arrrrrrr.
anyway been searching the web for some but would like different varieties to choose from the menu consists of:
1. wheat soup (kutya)
2. meatless borshch
3. pickled fish (oseledsi)
4. cabbage rolls (houbtsi, without tomatoe sauce)
5. perogies with potatoe, sauerkraut, and cottage cheese
6. pampushky (prune and poppy seed)
7. potatoe pancakes
8. nelishnica (spelling so incorrect)
9. head cheese (yup really gross, not sure if I will include this one but it is tradition)
