I was more pointing towards his lack of knowledge, he doesn't have to care but he should know. I did say foreign affairs but listening to him it sounds like he probably isn't well up on current affairs of any kind beyond the staple selling points of his party's manifesto.

What is the difference between a pretense of knowledge and a lack of knowledge? Barrack Obama was elected based on soaring rhetoric and no accomplishments. Barry embraced the Arab spring in Egypt and now protesters are being killed in the streets,Mubarak was trying to stay his hand by only beating people so he could maintain western support....There will be a military dictatorship 2.0 in Egypt or a fundie dictatorship...Soaring rhetoric and $5.00 will get you a latte...

That's exactly what I want...a president that doesn't care about foreign affairs unless it is a direct threat to the United States.

The United States is in its current situation because there has been a disconnect...fighting a cold war when there is no cold war to fight...just an imagined war and jingoistic bullshit.

I have yet to hear why engaging in proxy conflicts for Israel and giving the financial aid of 20k per year to them for every person benefits the United States; Other than the BS answer of it being the only democracy in the region...Which is bullshit because the United States has gone out of our way supporting dictatorships in the region....including all the victims of the "Arab Spring."
