Bulking Macros

Are average macros of 44/44/12 for Protein/Carbs/Fat good for a 4000 cal bulking diet? It comes out to around 390/390/100 on average.

I like carb rotations personally because you can lose fat and still grow to a degree.

I wish I could get your ratio.... Mine is looking pretty funky, mainly because the weight gainer I drink contains 100g of carbs per serving. And everything with high calories also contains a crapload of carbs. Mine is looking something like 250 protein, 540 carbs, 100g fat for a 4000 calorie diet.

What kind of foods are you eating?

And one thing though, I read somewhere that excessive amounts of protein is bad for you. Can anyone confirm that?

Excessive sure. BUT what is excessive? I have run 700 grams and been ok. But calories are calories in that case...too many in and not enough out YOU WILL GET FAT.

Really you just have a heavy, med and light carb day. Biggest muscles have a heavy day. Med for maybe arms and delts or something, light for off days. The amounts is variable for each person.

Cheers Future. I think ill try 350g Legs/Back, 250g Arms/Shoulders, 150g Off Days, for a couple of weeks and see how it goes.

interesting.... i just started cutting and need to add food back. i am starving myself with this plan. i may quickly throw something together with this idea. my normal carb intake is 1000-1200 carbs ed. this keeps me at my 20% bf average and is enough to keep me growing (obviously i up them as i grow). do you think something like 800, 600, 400 may be worth a shot future?
