Broncos vs Colts next week.......

is the game to watch.

6-0 with easy schedule vs 5-1 against real foes.

Top offense against top defense.

Will be interesting to see who the oddsmakers pick. They will call it as a close one.

Broncos 20

Colts 17

You seen it first at EF

24-21 indy

schedule considerations
after traveling to denver,Indy plays again on the road at new england
while denver has to go to pittsburgh
neither team has a break the following week
so no edge there

standings wise is the key
indy has a 3 game edge over jacksonville
while denver holds only a solitary game edge over san diego
denver's at home
oddsmakers will probably open this at denver favored by 6

this game will basically be
can plummer pull his thumb out of his ass and show he's a post season caliber QB
while manning comes to town and gets to fuck around
Indy doesn't need the game

No way will Denver be favored by 6. Denver has not found its offense this season. They couldn't hardly score on bkmom or sprqt unless they fumbled.

Should be a great game but you know how many of those play out.

Its so close that I can see myself possibly changing my mind about the outcome when new info pours in. Denver had some costly injuries today.

Plummer seems to have given up on his future in Denver. He is an NFL caliber QB on a decent team. Not a championship QB because he blows up at inopportune times. We have an attractive alternative and Plummer layed a pteronodon sized egg last year against Pitt.

Plummer knows he better start performing or start packing.

Denver -3
if "they" open that at -3 I'd be on denver
3 is too low
5 or 6
4 is middle number released to see if it will go 3.5

6 is a number to see if it will go towards magic "7"
no way denver -7
a full TD
5 is "icky"
can go to "icky" 6 or "icky" 4
6 is much less icky than 4

Testosterone boy said:
Denver -3
no way 3
that's the typical homefield spot
I already pointed out why this game is considerably more necessary to denver

factor in that both teams have a "national" following
Denver is typically popular
and Indy was undefeated late into last season(remember all the discussion about Indy going undefeated?)
so no move a point there
I'm sticking with denver minus 6

Testosterone boy said:
You have pretty well covered the bases with talks of 4, 5, 6 or 7

Denver -3 or -4

Indy wants to stay undefeated
as a gambler I'd consider denver a play at anything less than 6
this could be a field goal bitch
Indy doesn't need the game, but their defense could very well "man-up" against a Plummer led impotent denver offense
my gut feeling
denver by 10

Denver averages about 15 points a game bro. You think they can hold Indy to 5?

something like 20-10
the real question, and i'm not in the denver area
plummer can't or will not win a super bowl
IMO denver got the QB steal of the draft with Cutler
shannahan I think has some job security
he can't get it done with plummer
he knows this
when can I release Cutler?
not next week at pittsburgh
but maybe the following week in oakland
it gets kind of difficult to swap QB's in situations like this
plummer ain't going to win the big show
accept it
what do youdo?

so the pretty blonde stroking plummer's cock exorts him to perform beyond usual

At 5-1, Shanahah nas no need to rock the boat. Plus he knows that you shouldn't throw a rookie qb into the fires too quickly.

He will stick with Plummer unless things go badly. Plummer pulls it out then Shanahan looks great. Plummer screws up and Shanahan has public backing to try Cutler.

Plummer knows that if Denver has big leads....Cutler will see play. He is in a catch-22.

Life is so cold. Plummer had a good year in 2005....very good year really.

Coach gets a lucky pick and everybody says 'get rid of Plummer.'

I'm amazed that almost everyone hangs in there.

I disagree
shanahan wants to win the big one
has he done this already?
plummer is a lame-duck QB
the question is when can I "try out" Cutler and get what needs to be done
Leinert with arizona broke long-standing NFL records with his performance in 2 NFL games
my point
the "college" game prepares a prospective NFL QB much better than before
this game is so fucking fast
the basics are the same
I want that guy with split-second better decision making ability
not the guy who's proven he can't

He will stay with Plummer for a few more games minimum. People in Denver are pleased as punch right now and Shanahan is really into selling diamonds.

plummer will win this game that Indy doesn't need
and denver will get eliminated in the first round of the playoffs
whether it be to brady, palmer or manning

surprised me
but Leinert,a rookie with but a game experience
performed quite succesfully against the team that's going to go 16-0
which is laughable
but that's another point

You drinking?

Plummer hasn't won shit this year.

Our defense will be what wins...if we win.

Question for you...........Denver goes to the big dance and wins. What to do then?

The season is young. Much can happen. We do know that the D defense is very much for real right now.

I've heard that Shanahan switched to defense. He really is a very bright person.

If you really think about it
it's a 23 year old QB against a defensive set with an average age of 27
big fucking deal

I think Lestat is downing some strong drinks right now. He is a SD fan. They got plowed by KC I think.

I had a suspicion that KC had some gumption in them.

I already outlined all your positions
which I agree with

fuck I don't know what the average age of a dreadlocked DB in the NFL is
I'm quessing

Leinert looked good.

But Plummer has enjoyed some popularity in Denver. The media is slowly paving his departure though.

Da Bears will go 14-2 in my humble estimation. Then lose to the Colts.

Manning will win the big dance some time. Its in his cards.

The Broncos do not get a lot of love at ef.

Probably because they have crushed so many dreams over the past 10 years.

Truer word=never spoken.

Did you see the almost identical stats between Elway and Plummer for the last 48 games of both careers?

the Colts are bored and still undefeated
and they travel to new england next week
they can lose both and be fine

They will still just choke in th end. Again.

Broncos need to pony up, heh, and buy Manning.

NFL caliber offense has managed 17 points total output
defense,defense yeah,yeah
Indy comes to town and fucks around

Gotta hand it to Colts fans for thinking their team will pull it out no matter how many chokes.

that's a weak number
home less than a FG
hell who's opening the number these days?

Elway might even chip in a couple shiny new automobiles. I am also offering an unpublished conspiracy theory for Mannings persual.

What will you contribute?

Shotgun's VIP and a great D.

Hell the deal sells itself. Denver vs. Indy? where would any sane person want to live?

I'm sure that Peyton finds Indy to be quite hospitable.

He has a chance to go down as arguably the best qb ever...if he wins a couple bowls and plays a long time. His numbers are off the charts.

I don't think he is into strip joints bor.

Shotguns gave me a lifetime VIP pass once for being such a manly man. I tossed it.

So he can wait with Elway until the twilight years for a super bowl win or two. I drank beers with Forsberg at Shotguns a few times. Don't think you know any player. I had a lifetime vip too. I wonder if Matt is still managing there?

I've been there about six times. Couldn't tell you.

I've enjoyed many nights at a strip joint. Alway found I had to spend a lot of bread though.

One girl was so hot that I jerked it off twice on the way home. Got stuck in the sand in an orchard in Florida the second time. Had to walk home. It was worth it. I will never forget her. She had a messenger tell me that she liked me.

Now I am old and set out to pasture. I get ignored by the dames.

they didn't get plowed exactly, it was their game to win at one point but they couldn't perform on offense or degense when it COUNTED!

You are right. All I remembered is that the Chiefs scored 30.....so I thought the Bolts got plowed.

Should be great games with the Broncos. I predict a split. Slightly favoring the Broncos. Their offense will improve while the defense mellows a tad.

maybe what the defense needed, but i'm gonna guess that grossman is going to be worthless at least this week. i'm guessing he's lost his "thing" after his less than poor performance last week. his confidence is gone. maybe and hopefully i'm wrong, i'd like to see my local Bears win, but i just don't see it happening.

im not sure I agree about his confidence being gone. He seemed pretty darn positive to me in the after interviews for laying such an egg on the playing field

Im sure Lovie wont let him eff up again like that

Great teams find a way to win. nuff said. Bears in Miami come February 4th .

My Shanahan conspiracy theory is that he tanks the playoffs unless he thinks he can make a legitimate run at the super bowl.

I'll bet teams lose more players to free ageny when they chalk up play off victories.

Shanhan is the immaculate realist.

That's just plain stupid.

dumb ass

It is common knowledge that great teams suffer during free-agency. Most have gotten a ring and want the money.

To say that Shanahan deliberately throws a game (which is nearly impossible to do from the sidelines - I mean how would he explain the of-tackle run on 4th and 26?!?!?!?!) is ridiculous. To say an NFL caliber coach tries to lose because he doesn't think his team can win?!?!?!

Ummm...

Right now is the operative word.

It would be cool but i only give them a 40% chance.

I'm a highly thought of oddsmaker by the way.

ID say that is fair
Im a lifetime dyed-in-the-wool Bears fan. But I am also a realist.

I truly beleive Chicago has the talent, weapons, chemistry, and the coaching to run the table and take it to Miami.
I think the cards game was the absolute best thing to happen to them. I guarantee this past bye week they had Lovie put it to them and got thier heads back on straight.

I didn't mean that he tries to lose. He may not try to win so hard however.

Tanking may not equal throwing away a game. Semantics.

We have pulled off too many amazingly abysmal play off performances that were pretty out of character for the year.

We always played like rabid dogs in the play offs when Reeves was the coach. So we sent slightly above average teams with good coaching and great quarterbacking...........to the super bowl. And a slaughter.

Try a google for most Bronco play off performances in the past several years. We got slaughtered for the most part...until last year.

Broncos don't stand a chance.

Interesting that both teams are horses.

This statement makes no sense. "May not try to win"?? WTF is that?! Do you honestly believe that?!

Also, the rest of your statement is pretty much par-for-the-course for teams who have trouble in the playoffs... Colts?? Dungy must not be trying to win...

What are you implying? Shanahan doesn't want to win a playoff game? Shanahan can't win a playoff game?

I was pretty dissapointed as I felt Denver made a really solid showing. The key play that won it for the colts was the fumble by plummer. That really ticked me off. I like him and all but hold onto the ball for crying out loud. The secondary didn't cover wayne very well at all, but it wasn't an easy win for the colts at all and that was something positive for me as a bronco fan to take away to help me sleep last night. :)
