Last night my wife and I went out for a belated anniversary dinner. Looking at the menu it killed me to eat this crap but opted for a nice porterhouse steak, large salad and garlic mashed potatoes. Getting back home I felt like crap. I could literally feel the salt taking effect on my body in my feet and hands. This morning its like my body is trying to get rid of this stuff asap...if you know what I mean...
Anyone else experience adverse reactions to thier cheat meals?
Honestly - it was probably just a reaction to salt and dairy - which is totally normal especially if you are very clean in your food choices. I get the same thing - you can watch my hands and ankles swell up - time and lots of water will help get you back to normal.
I do find that steak will sometimes just sit like a brick for days and other times I will wake up the next day starving.
You can try dandelion root - it may help you with the salt/water retention.
