Blood Work Results (BUN and CREATININE)

BUN - 22
CREATININE - 1.17

I just received my blood work back from my doc. He was a little concerned with my elevated BUN and CREATININE levels. I've been off cycle now for about 2 months but recently stopped taking nolvadex. Could this be causing the elevated levels?

Everything else on my chart was normal. Obviously kindeys are one of the post important organs to protect so I'm a little shaken by this. Is there any medical advice out there on how I can lower these numbers?

27 year old male
6.1 195 about 9%

recent cycle was just test cyp about 300 mgs per week + HCG, arimidex- and nolva.

First of all, reasonably high creatinine levels are normal for muscular dudes.

I have a copy of my blood work from quest labs right here in front of me (from last month).

My creatinine was 1.52 H. The normal range is .80 - 1.30 mg/dL

Doc had me piss in a cup. It took all of 2 minutes to determine my kidneys were fine and my urine was free of protein. Your doc should have had you do the same. And at 1.17 your levels are perfectly within range.

what's BUN??

BUN is blood urine nitrogen

and the normal range is 7 - 25 mg/dL

again, you're well within the normal range.

drink more water.
