Blood aspiration

[FONT=&quot]Pinned VG today and as I aspirated I saw an air bubble then it followed with all blood. I had a few blood droplets in syringe. [/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Cleaned the area again, changed needles, pushed out a few drops of blood that was in the luer. Probably lost 0.1-0.2ml of gear which is not a big deal to me but I’d rather avoid it.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Do you guys just inject all the blood in the tip back or do you try to get some out first?[/FONT]

2. it is your blood so injecting it back is fine.

I don’t aspirate, make sure your needle is full, not just syringe and no bubbles and you’ll be fine

I’ve always aspirated to ensure the needle is not in a blood vessel. Your not concerned with that as a possibility?

I pin glutes so no! the chances of doing harm is pretty slim as long as you have clean process

it is just an unnecessary step and it is counter productive since you are moving the needle around more than needed.
