Blood after injection

I just took my last shot of my cycle, and when I pulled the needle out I got a little more blood than usual. I asperated the needle, and got bubbles instead of blood, so I know the shot went into the muscle. I think I just pierced the vein maybe? I just wanted to make sure this is ok?

as much as you try to avoid blood, it will happen here and there

Sometimes some amount of blood can leak out. I think you are fine as you didn't get any blood to the syringe.

No big deal at all. And just a side note, you really dont need to aspirate. They stopped teaching nurses to do that years ago.

Sounds like you went through a small vein on the way in but you didn't actually inject into the vein. This can happen at anytime not a big deal.
