travis200 New member Dec 19, 2003 #12 I have used a hand blender and it sucked big ass. It was fine for mixing liquid stuff but if you want to crush ice you need the real deal eletric blender. Try putting a towel or 2 over it while you run it that should quiet it down a bit.
