black man calf syndrome

After training in different sports for several years I have noticed black guys seem to struggle when it comes to growth calf muscle?
Even black pro bodybuilders do not as have big a calves as white dudes, the hispanics (or latinos whatever) seem to develop big calfs too. Any idea why genes worked this way for them, even the pro bodybuilders the black guys lacking the calf department.
 
Calves are a very stubborn muscle. The size of your calves is determined mainly by your genetics. I am sure we have all seen the people who have never worked out a day in their life but their calves are almost as big as their head. Likewise, there are people who train legs two times a week, every week religiously and their calves still suck.

Your calves are the biggest endurance muscle in your body. Trying to get your calve muscles to grow is like trying to get your jaw muscles to grow. You can make them grow, it's just going to take a lot of work. If the genetics aren't there, the best you can get is subpar calves. They will never be a stand out body part for you.

I think your observations is very random, as this type of muscle doesnt really depend whether you are white or black. Look at olympia stage. Does not seem like white guys are dominating with calves to me
 
i hate to say this cause I don't want to break peoples hearts, but most of you reading don't even do your calves. i rarely see anyone doing calves, everyone does shoulders, chest, biceps, pulldowns.. when do i see calves? never

I always make sure to knock out 6-8 or so sets of calves on my leg day, and don't forget the front of your lower leg as well. the same people who cry about their calves are the guys who don't even work them.. i have some great calves cause i work them out hard.
 
Arnold used to cut his pants into shorts so he would be forced to look at his calves. He recognized them as a weak point and just would not settle for that.
 
I think that it all runs down to personal genetics, with some people having an easier time to grow their calves, and others a harder time. But I don't think that it can be so generally attributed to a race.
 
Well I've heard that many times.. that black guys are less genetically predisposed for big calves. I'm white though and have the shittiest calves.. genetics determine where you start, not where you finish.
