I'm on the pill-yasmin, but have been thinking about the copper T, but hate my doctor so much that I don't want him to insert it, so I am going to see where else i can get that done. On the other hand I want have a baby in the next two or three years, so I'm not sure if it is worth it or not.
the pill works fine for me, no sides, and it makes the girls bigger, so i'm not really complaining.

seasonique currently due to it being the best option for my condition

was on:
loestrin
orthotricyclin
depo
non copper iud
yazmine
yaz

the depo made me gain massive weight and hold on to it and also bled forever on it. 3 weeks on 1 week off.. Nice right?
The lo dose led to me becoming pregnant with my youngest son
The ortho gave me horrible acne
The iud gave me massive cysts and was very uncomfy for both me and my spouse
The yasmine made me sick every month when I took the sugar pills. I had massive migraines and was vomiting every dang month
The yaz gave me migraines and also bleed too much

The seasonique is what I am on now because my gyno refuses to give me a partial hysterectomy. I evidently bleed far too much than I should and also I have a horrible time with hormones. My body seems to not make them the way that they should, as when I was on a 28 day pill I would become sick during the sugar pill time. Since being on seasonique I have been ok to a certain point. I am going to attempt a different gyno to see what they think I should do.

Do you have endometriosis?
Or is it the sugar pills making you sick?
Have you tried a 21 day?
I do that, because I never took the sugar pills, no real point as far as I could see.

I'm on Ocella, a generic version of Yaz. Works for me- just a bit of nausea on a new round.

Depo is the devil don't even let it be an option.

I have a copper t iud cramps are worse with it but other then that zero side effects.

I currently use a low dose monthly shot called Mesygina but it's not sold here in US :( so I have to find something local.... maybe the patch.... do your insurance companies cover that or how do you get it?

After three babies I had my tubes tied. It seems to be working so far. (Don't mind me, just a little morning smart ass)

well according to my gyno dr I don't. All paps and everything comes back normal, that is why they will not go ahead and give me a partial. However, it is obviously clear to anyone that reads my med records that I indeed have an issue. Seriously, what person bleeds for 3-6 weeks straight, takes 1 week off, and then begins bleeding again???

I have tried everything under the sun including taking hormone replacements once. My body just has become so dependent on the pill and the hormones that without the pill I cannot function. That is why they found it best that I be on the seasonique (one period every 3 months).
