Big lump in glute after injection.

I injected 1ml-250mg of test E on Thursday morning. Usual routine. Nothing major. Woke up Friday morning with it being pretty sore and a small soft lump to the right of the injection. It's gotten bigger and painful throughout the day and has bruising on it. I'm only taking 2ml a week at the minute. Monday and Thursday and I'm rotating my glutes and quads each week. Getting in the doctors 1st thing tomorrow, (I'm in the UK so it's like 4am here). Anyone got any thoughts on what it could be or the cause of it?

No worries. Just massage it. Hot shower, etc. There are no major arteries in your ass. Happened to me dozens of times.

Bruising would indicate a vein puncture. Always aspirate. There are tons of posts on injecting, browse through some and you'll get an idea of what to expect and such.

I always aspirate and can usually feel it if I hit a vein as well. If I've gone through a vein would that cause all the swelling? It's about the size of a cupped hand

Looks like you missed the muscle completely, which means it's in a pocket of fat. Search some of the posts about bad injects here or google, which will lead you right back here. I think you'll be ok. But use at least 1 inch needles or longer and don't shoot that side for at least a month or so.

I'm flexing my glutes in that picture. You can see the spot where I pinned, which is why I'm worried cause it's off to the side of it. (Injection site looks to far over but it's cause I'm flexing ones cheeks)
I use 1inch 25g.
This is my second cycle and never had a problem with my injection protocol before.
I'm going to get myself in the docs tomorrow and see what they say.

I read that aspirating too far or too long can do this also.

I've had the same type of swelling and whatnot on the side of my glute close to the hip bone, super bad to where i would be in agony if it was hit or i rolled on it in bed, it'll go away in like 3-6 days, each day will get better, but that's just my opinion, if it's not super hot, you're not running more than a 100 fever, or redness spreading take 3-4 ibuprofen & restup (besides going to the gym)

Now noticing i actually have mine in the same area as we speak, except i'm probably 1/4 as sore, i can roll over it in bed with a little discomfort but no agonizing pain

You pinned a bit too high I think. 2ml in the subcutaneous tissue would cause such a lump. It should go away as the fat absorbs the esters. If it becomes fluctuant to touch (i.e not indurated), that's when I would advise going to the doctor. A fluctuant mass could be an abscess (worst case scenario, highly unlikely though).

I only injected 1ml in my glutes. the lump is pretty high but its not where i pinned, i pinned just below the lump, upper outer. I've done sub-q injections (1ml) in my ab fat and had little lumps before but nothing like this. Cant get into the doctors till tomorrow morning but it does feel miles better today.

1inch is too short for the glutes in my opinion. Go 1.5 inch and you won't have any issues. Looks like a shallow injection to me, oil is trapped in there and just needs time to absorb.

Lump went after about 4 days. I'll leave that flute alone for a month or so to be in the safe side
