Bieng big AND cut, how?

When I was in the Marines there was a guy in our battalion that was a known juicer and the dude was huge and cut to the T. The dude was only like 23 or so at the time. I've done like 10 or so dbol/sust/deca cycles and it just made me big and puffy.

My question is, what could this dude possibly have taken to be so big AND cut so young? There was plenty of dbol and A-bombs floating around my unit but nobody looked like this dude, all vascular and huge like a pro bodybuilder. This was back in the early 90's so I don't think it was tren. GH possibly?

diet, hgh, igf. i noticed when lowering my carbs, upping my proteine and together with some hgh, igf, and the occasional cycle you can hardly get increase in fat %. so first make sure your fat % is below or around 10% (heavy diet, clen, cardio), then just contineu with good training, good diet, good roids and you can grow and stay lean all the way...

Genetics are number one.
Diet is number two.

Prime example of a big cut mofo ^^^^

anyhow, i'm going to play devils advocate here.. I think people play the genetics card WAYY TOOO OFTEN! I mean okay fine some people might be gifted in staying big and lean, it doesnt mean that another person can not do it. It might mean more cardio then person a and clean diet but it can be done.

So, do the pro's switch off and on between bulkers and cutters or do they try to stay ripped all the time? And I do consider some of the bro's on this board to be pro's, even if they don't compete.

I don't know anybody who could do D-bol and not hold water, hence the "puffy" look...

Pro's are fat until about 3 months out from Mr. O when they start to cut, its all about bulking then finally cutting at the end

What if all you ever did was trenbolone/test cycles? Wouldn't you stay cut all the time while getting big too?
No.

Diet dictates results not what drug you're using.

I think you need to come to the realization that the pictures of the pros in the magazines are either before a competition or right after. They do not with the exception of a few stay lean and ripped in the off season. It is much harder to gain new muscle and strength while on a calorie restricted diet. This equation should help
PRE-CONTEST:calorie deficient+low BF+less energy+lowered strength= lean and ripped but the perfect time to win a contest
POST-CONTEST:calorie surplus+higher BF+more energy+more strength/size= big and full but the perfect time to gain new muscle

Why do you think bodybuilding contest are mostly all around the same time in summer? So they really only diet down one time and do the shows that are all close together.

Every single cylce that you do you should notice someting VERY noticeable at the end of each cycle. If you're cutting you should definitely notice a very significant amount of fat loss. If you are bulking you should obviously put on some good size. It's one or the other. Decide what the purpose of your cycle is before you start, then just meet your goal at the end. Then after you recover start thinking about your next cycle and what you want to build on from there. If you are honestly looking at yourself after 12,14 or however many weeks and you don't see a big difference you don't have everything in check: Diet, Training, Rest, AAS.

Makes sense. You're right. All the pix I see in the muscle mags are of totally huge and ripped guys. I'd love to see some pix of some pro's in the off season. I'm just curious how different they look.
