Best way to keep the "on" look?

calveless wonder

New member
Talking about vascularity, hardness and muscle fullness....

everytime i would come off i feel like i look like crap...veins disappear, and just have a much "softer" and smooth look in general. within first couple weeks of PCT

would IGF-1 and human growth hormone - somatropin - (if you're running it most of the year), help?

anything else you guys do to maintain that look?

GH will. I don't come off much but I had to for 9 months. Used GH the whole time 8IU's ED still had the look but lost some strength. Ate alot and did cardio.

RawMCC for Power and Muscle Fullness

LIPOFLAME for Leanness

Amplify02 for PreWorkout Pumps

I am NOT just saying that either

IGF1LR3 does help,,but keeping good diet and continued training hard is crucial. OTC SUPPS like creatine, NO2 help while OFF

If there was a way to keep the "on" look their wouldn't be a need for numerous cycles and crusing. But yeah, I heard IGF during PCT works wonders.

igf, insulin PCT - post cycle therapy - is good. if your not at that level then just stay on yr round..just switch some AAS compounds round every 6-8 weeks

otc sups can work wonders for this if your willing to spend the money on it...its still cheaper human growth hormone - somatropin - lol

What OTC supps are you referring to?

Damn, this is PERFECT.

Here's your answer.

VIGOR: Increases blood volume for better pumps. Contains ingredients found in no other supplement.

UNLEASHED: Lowers SHBG which increases free testosterone naturally. The highest concentration of avenacosides A&B of anything on the market.

BIG BLAST: The only mass drink with super plasma protein -- the only substance proven to increase muscle size with no additional drugs or calories. Will keep you looking full and most definitely "on." No lie.

thats what I was thinking...among some others like what omega said...cycling with dermacrin and dermacrine sustain can be a good off cycle add as well.
some bcaa's and some cee and your all good.

Not really.

If that were the case, nobody would look like they came off. Simply, not true. You MUST put the body in a heightened anabolic state that goes beyond ordinary nutrition.

Needto is correct. BCCAA's and Derma are good too, though BIG BLAST is pretty high in BCAA's.

I say you only live once, stay on and don't go off in the first place.

And with that philosophy, that "once" may be short in regard to enjoying good health.

Totally agree with this... alot of guys tend to "slack" big-time when they come off because they figure they don't need to (or can't) push themselves as hard. You have to train hard and eat well even when off... and select OTC supps do help.

I think it is a nice idea to want to have that look, shredded, vascular and hard.

And I want a pony, and a Malibu barbie doll, and a new baby sister........

GUYS c'mon, even the pros don't have an 'on' look all year round.

You can still look great, but to think you can look in 'comp' condition all the time........................

Even the photoshoots in all the mags are often done a week out of comps.

It just really worries me that some of you have unreal expectations and you may end up doing yourself some sort of metabolic injury when you keep taking all sorts of performance enhancing drugs for some unobtainable image.

It reminds me of all the girlies and wanting to be as thin as supermodels.

If OTC supplements give you that juiced up look, why would people even juice....come on here guys. Face it, people look like greek gods when they cycle then afterwards you just can't keep that look. Maybe supps will let you keep 60% (pulled that # out of my azz), but not like juice. No OTC supplement will give you the vascularity, size, hardness that anabolic steroids do.

Natural Bodybuilders get that look when they are in comp condition without anabolic steroids.

There may not be the same roundness to the shoulders, but they also don't have bloated GH bellies.

What has worked for me is simple and cheap. Creatine Ethyl-Ester with topical ATD (or some topical aromatase inhibitor). Muscle fullness and nice dry look.

Good point...Got me their, but still they can't keep that physique all around. And not many have the dedication of a natty bb. I know I don't. If you do what they do and start dieting 6 - 8 months before a show, be meticulous with your cardio, workout like a beast it is possible.

That is it right there, you can obtain it with hard work and dedication but without the continual use of a a s you can't keep that look.

I look lean all year, around 220. GH all year, its a staple in the progrm. Cycle the amount of aas up and down though.

Ever since I competed a few years ago, I been lean. Not crazy 4% but around 8%.

another great thread! I, unfortunately, have finally found a Tatyana post I don't completely agree with....I know plenty, PLENTY of natural BB'ers who have a TOUGH TIME staying even remotely hard all year long. THey are experts at cycling their diets...and peaking at the right time....and maybe holding onto it longer than GH'ers...but far from year round. I do think that the Protein Factory and Primordial supps are great alternatives...and with the RIGHT DIET and continued training.... can stay pretty damn lean..... I've never been there. But I WILL BE THERE...U JUST WATCH THE CHANGE!!!

Thanks hun,

My coach recently made an admission which I was shocked with.

She has advised me to stay leaner, cause then you can get more photoshoots etc.

Last time I saw her though (and we did discuss all the BBers who got really FAT off season), she did say, "well, it does look like those that get fat (this is by BBing standards, not normal population standards) do seem to be better bodybuilders).

I am an advocate of clean/lean bulking, but there is also this to remember:

IF YOUR ABS ARE SHOWING YOU AIN'T GROWING

Muscle is so metabollically demanding, I really do think you need a bit of fat to grow, unless you have some freaky genetics.

I think that the Natty's I've seen training look SOFTER and fatter when "off season" trying to build muscle.....they always seem to cut up nicely...but I've only seen a handful of guys with supierior genetics that can pull off being below 10% all the time. I've heard that rule of thumb before...but I ain't seen my abs since I was 18!!!!! WTF!!! Genetics..... can't get huge without 'em!!! I definately ain't got 'em.
