Best Tasting Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey?

I would like to know the best tasting flavor of the Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey. I got this Bally's Protein Powder, chocolate and it tastes like shit. So I was thinking of going with vanilla. Also where is the cheapest website for this stuff, please keep shipping costs in mind. Thanks so much guys, for any help.

i have tried strawberry... it was GROSS... Vanilla not bad but still made me puke at times.. now chocolate is by far one of the best tasting shakes i've ever had. Definitaly go with chocolate-- doesn't taste like a protein shake at all..

You might want to think about getting the whey unflavored and mixing it with whatever you like. I know one brand (can't remember the name) sell's is pre-packaged this way, and at www.proteinfactory.com you can order it unflavored with or without sweenter. I'm planing on tried the unflavored but sweentend next time and mix it with Nestle's Quick or something like that.

Chocolate or Vanilla, but the last Vanilla tasted different then it has in the past. This time is was a bit less sweet and a bit more like EAS or something.

OK not as bad as EAS, but I am a bit worried if they are going to start making changes without any kind of warning

chocolate is pretty good especially with skim milk, but i usually just use water, and at www.massnutrition.com its like $23.

Remember that when you get chocolate whey, you are actually getting less protein. It takes so much coca powder to flavor the whey, that it takes a pretty good bite out of how much protein you are actually getting. It's almost 10% chocolate some places.

chocolate is great chocolate mint is great the first time but gets old and nasty as time goes on. www.dpsnutriton.com has it pretty cheap and only $4.90 for s/h. I actually buy mine from ebay good deals sometimes on there.

Thanks so much guys, I'm gonna go with chocolate, this is the first time I'm taking protein powder, I've tried several times, but I wasn't able to handle the tastes of some other brands.

I agree. I was getting tired of choc. protein shakes and i bought the 5lb size at my gym so I'm kinda stuck w/ it.
For my postworkout shake, I add strawberry/ban. crystal light powder, non-dairy creamer, coconut flakes and a little splenda.
With my fruit punch creatine..it's really good!
It's a nice change fr. a "milkshake" protein shake. Tastes more like a fruit smoothie..so if you're craving something fruity, try it.

This may be a late reply since I just joined..however I've done extensive research and spoke with personal trainers..its an obvious choice to pick Optimum Nutrition 100 Whey Gold in extreme milk chocolate. It taste GREAT! also I like the vanilla ice cream. I only add milk and no ice for best flavor. Muscle milk is fantastic tasting but not great for post workouts due to caseinate contents slow digesting proteins. But its great for feeding muscles long after whey proteins have dropped off. The cheapest place to buy protein powders,etc is A1Supplements.com. DPSnutrition.net and supplementwarehouse.com. Shipping rates are very good. However I choose to buy from Bodybuilding.com as they are open 24/7..have great cusomer service AND they price match with other online sites! And I love the the entire site of bodybuilding.com!
